ELEMENTAL CHANGES Oriental Medical Arts offers an incentive to the community for low-cost, affordable acupuncture care. This program takes place at 188 Charlotte Street-Suite 3 every first and third Saturday of the month, from 10 am - 2:00 pm. Treatments are approximately 45 minutes in duration for a $37.00 donation. A patient does not have to qualify for eligibility based on finances; only the a desire to support true, personal health and wellness. In order to assertain health status and so provide appropriate care to each person, a full intake prior to taking part in Community acupuncture treatments is required. This can be done by scheduling an herbal consultation office visit; a 1 hour office visit at a cost of $65.00. All current patients of ELEMENTAL CHANGES may also receive Community acupuncture treatments to receive extra support & reinforce their status between office visits. Patients should wear clothing that is easy to adjust. Everyone is asked to bring their own pillows and blankets and what they need for comfort as treatments, for the most part, will be administered to patients while they are lying on the floor. We have a limited number of yoga mats to be used and so if you prefer to bring your own, or to donate a yoga mat or Thermarest to this program, it is greatly appreciated. We can accomodate 6 patients at a time and treatments are given on a first come-first served basis. |
